I collaborated with the manager of the 4th Floor Neurosurgery team at the Neuroscience Institute within Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center to design a logo that represents the floor’s specialized focus on brain and spine health. The logo combines a brain and spine in a badge-style design, symbolizing the advanced care provided on the floor.
The logo has been implemented across various materials, including team pages, merchandise (such as t-shirts and promotional items), and hospital signage. The aubergine color, a key element of Novant Health’s branding, was chosen to convey professionalism and trust. The tagline, “Saving Brains, Fixing Backs,” was included to clearly communicate the floor’s mission.
